Indian army needs no introduction. We all have love, respect and admiration for our soldiers and the Indian army as a whole. As we all know, Indian army has a long and glorious history. Therefore, it is difficult to talk about everything in such a limited space. I have tried to emphasize on a few points where my heart skips a beat thinking about it. And hope my feelings reach out to you.

 Asking about the importance of Indian Army in India is like asking the importance of heart in a human body. It would not be wrong to say that there would be no India without Indian Army. It is the backbone of the country. The soldiers of the Indian Army has always been sacrificing themselves while protecting their motherland and its citizens. Indian soldiers are the perfect symbol of a true patriot. They leave behind their own families to serve their nation .

  If you pick a person, randomly and ask him about birthdays of film stars, politicians, sports persons etc. There is a good chance that he/she will be able to tell quite a few but if you ask him/her that, “when and why is Indian army day celebrated”? There is a good chance he/she will have no answer. The problem is that, We have taken for granted that someone is always positioned to guard our borders while we sleep in our cosy homes or there will be someone to take the bullets of the enemies and terrorists for us evn though unknown.

 Indian army is one of the best forces in the world. It has the ability to handle any external and internal threat. Overall, we can say that Indian Army is the soul of our country.

 As the saying goes by :- "Either I will come back after hoisting the tricolor, or I will come back wrapped in it, but I will be back for sure.”
Our Indian Army is ready to face any hurdle to keep our flag rising.

Where the streets have no soul..    They want to run, they want to hide, dosage they want to tear down the walls in their minds and hearts. They want to seek shelter from the hot summer and the cold winter and the poison rains. They live on nameless streets with no souls, salve forgotten by the universe. This is the harsh reality of life for the street children of Goa.
